  • It is important to test all of your latches and adjust when needed.  If the latch is secured properly, it allows it to function properly sealing in the air. 
  • Wind chains are suggested if your storm door currently does not have one.  Why wind chains?  It protects the door from flying off the hinges in the event of severe winds.  They are easily removable if you need to open the door wider for any reason.
  • Door-closers should be adjusted to avoid slamming.  Ideal for going in and out of the house with items.
